DR. CHRIS LEE loves his job! He enjoys the long-term relationship that pediatric dentistry allows him to have with his young patients and their families. Dr. Lee is committed to providing quality dental care while giving children a positive experience during their visits. Whether it’s through jokes or singing songs, Dr. Lee makes every effort to make the office a fun environment.
A Bay Area native, Dr. Lee received his B.A. degree from U.C. Berkeley with a double-major in Molecular and Cell Biology and Integrative Biology. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the U.C. San Francisco School of Dentistry, graduating with honors. Dr. Lee’s three years of advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry were attained through completion of a residency and fellowship at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Concurrent with his clinical training, Dr. Lee completed research culminating in a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology, as well as service on the University’s faculty training dental students and residents.
Dr. Lee is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has published several scientific articles in the dental literature.
When not at the office, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife Anne, working on his home, and playing jazz piano.
DR. ANNE LEE is saddened to have to leave her practice and will miss her patients dearly. Although it was a difficult decision to make this change, she can leave knowing that her patients are in good hands with Dr. Chris.
KRISTEN completed her dental assisting degree at Foothill College in 2005, and graduated with degrees in child development and communication in 2009. She has been a part time dental professional since she graduated and also works as a substitute pre-school teacher. When she is not here in the office she is teaching enrichment programs to 2-5 year olds.
Kristen loves children! She enjoys watching them develop and grow throughout the different stages of childhood. The thing she loves most is seeing their reactions to the world and the innocence they possess as they discover new things. When not working she cherishes her time with her husband and two kids exploring and playing. She loves taking them for walks to the beach and to the park every chance she gets. She also loves being at home with them where they enjoy reading and getting messy!

MIRTA is our Dental Assistant. She was born in Argentina and holds degrees in Education and Biology. She has 35 years of experience in dentistry; 19 of these yrs are in Pediatric Dentistry. Mirta also was the head instructor of Bay Area Dental Assisting School for 2 1/2 years. She has resided in California for 40 yrs.
Mirta is an avid windsurfer and traveler. Together with her husband they have traveled to all continents. She also does continued community projects, such as distributing food supplies to families in need, aiding in dentistry for needy children on the coast, and works with Cat Rescue Network in San Mateo. Mirta has three rescue dogs and two rescue cats. She is very interested in feral cat communities.
